Winter in Ischgl
A paradise of snow, ice and variety
One of the best-known ski areas in the Alps lies practically on your doorstep: the cross-border Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun, with 239 kilometres of pistes across Tyrol and Switzerland. At altitudes of 1,377 to 2,872 metres, the season runs from November to early May – ideal conditions for long days on the slopes, whenever you plan your time out in the snow.
If you'd like to shift down a gear now and then, you'll find your own trail with ski touring, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter and snowshoe hiking or ice skating. For music fans, the legendary Top of the Mountain concerts on the Idalp at 2,300 metres are among the highlights of the winter.

For the active, for the epicures, for everyone
When the snow melts, the Paznaun mountains reveal their colourful side. Around 75 marked hikes lead through the alpine landscape – from relaxed walks to demanding mountain tours. On two wheels, ride through the Silvretta Bike Arena Ischgl/Samnaun with more than 100 kilometres of nature trails. The routes climb to around 2,800 metres and reward you with sweeping views and breathtaking descents.
